A Good Day Above Albuquerque
Today was a good day.
It was very hard. We started with a five mile uphill bike ride, and it made us earn the view. The climb was work, but the payoff was worth it: an excellent overlook, an amazing feeling, and that kind of wide open Albuquerque view that makes the hard part feel smaller afterward.

The ride back helped too. After all that climbing, almost the whole return felt downhill, which is a pretty perfect bonus after grinding uphill first.
Another bonus is getting to compare these shots with older photos from the same area. We have a previous Sandia tram story from a very different kind of trip up the mountain. That one came with a tram ride and serious wind. This one came with bikes, tired legs, and the satisfaction of getting there under our own power.
