Pittsburgh From the Incline

Overlooking Pittsburgh was a different experience.
We rode the vertical rail car up to the top, climbing above the city instead of just driving into it. That changed the whole feel of the place. Pittsburgh has all those hills, bridges, and neighborhoods packed around the rivers, and from up there it made more sense as a city.
The view was the memorable part. You could look out and see the city spread below, with the skyline sitting inside all that terrain. It felt less like a normal sightseeing stop and more like getting a quick map of how Pittsburgh is put together.
Sometimes the best travel moments are simple: ride something unusual, get to the top, and realize the view was worth the climb.
