Seeing the Mary Todd Lincoln House was not really exciting, but it was interesting.
We got to see how people lived during that time and how they interacted with the world around them. Even when a place is quieter than expected, it can still give you a useful picture of what daily life looked like and how different everything was.
It was less of a big wow moment and more of a small historical window. The kind of stop where the value is in slowing down, looking around, and getting a little better sense of the people who lived through that period.
