Map Puzzle Geography Lesson

Puzzles make a great way to learn about the United States.

Because of our traveling, Aden has a better grasp of U.S. geography than most adults. The states are not just shapes on a board to him. They are places he has driven through, camped in, visited, and heard stories about along the way.

That made this map puzzle feel different from a normal kid activity. It was part game, part memory test, and part roadschool lesson.

Finishing it took very little time. Aden already had the map in his head, built from miles on the road and all the little stops that turned geography into something real.
