Airboats, Alligators, and the Louisiana Swamp

This trip to Louisiana was something else. Being from Florida, we are used to alligators, but these guys get right up close to them.

The airboat ride was a ton of fun. It took us out into the swamp, where we saw old structures and got a look at a part of Louisiana that felt completely different from the usual roadside stops.

Between the airboat, the alligators, and the swamp, it was an easy highlight of the trip. It is definitely something we would do again when we are in the area.
