Aden Wanted to See the Lincoln Memorial

One of the places Aden really wanted to go was Washington, D.C. We got to go and see many of the monuments, and I think we really liked the trip.
One of the things he wanted to see was the Lincoln Memorial and the reflecting pool. It was nice to see him take an active interest in history.
I like seeing that kind of curiosity in him. A trip to Washington, D.C. gave him the chance to connect the history he has learned about with the actual places where it happened, and that made the whole trip feel special.
